These are actual set design blueprints for the Doodlebops clubhouse from season 2. There are three sheets, roughly 24" by 34" in size. They're not in the best condition, as you can see in the photographs, but not too bad considering how much they've been through. They will flatten out nicely if you want to put them in a frame. And I think the creases and pin pricks in the corners add to the charm.
We initially built these sets on the top floor of the CBC building in downtown Toronto. But there was a strike at CBC that summer and we couldn't get in to shoot, so we took a 2-week break and moved the whole operation to another studio.
This is a copy of the set design from season three. It's digital, unlike the hand drawn blue prints for sale here. I think this illustrates the progression of the show perfectly. The early stuff was weird, raw and artful. The later stuff was weird, slick and artful. Both are cool in their own way.
